Incredible Russian silver & cobalt enamel egg. Has intricate raised design depicting the Russian double headed eagle, torches, wreaths and griffins with crest of Nicholas II. Mounted with Cabochon garnets to top and bottom. Gold wash interior. Holds town marks with 88 silver purity mark. Has Cyrillic Faberge mark. Marked to interior of both pieces of the egg and marked to lip of 1 side. Has silver footed stand. Measures 3 1/2" height + 1 1/4" base height (8.9cm + 3.1cm).
